In your answers, I am primarily looking at how you demonstrate competency in the material covered in the Read/Attend section. So, you need to determine what concepts/facts/ideas/etc. from the weekly reading can help you answer the questions. ies but do not provide a source that supports your contention that those qualities mark a leader. Q2: Better here: your answer here is on topic and includes cited support (you needed approved sources here tho) for what you are saying. The textbook provides information on a variety of topics which can cause clashes between supervisors and subordinates such as 1) Negative leadership, p. 39 2) Lack of trust among followers, pp. 40-41 3) Situational factors, p. 47 AND/OR 4) Leadership styles continuum, pp.58-59. You could have also found similar information in one or more library articles. Q3: Good here as well as you explained at least one of the the social motives to lead (Power, Achievement, and Affiliation) as discussed pp. 80-84 and then related that discussion to your work and personal life. Again your source here besides the textbook is the only issue. Overall, I think you have the right idea–just tweak your sources to articles and follow the other guidance provided here and I think you’ll do great in the remaining assignments.
