iew……………..Scenario. Psychological trauma is presented when a person undergoes a disturbing psychological experience that interrupts their daily lives and their abilities to function as before the traumatic event. The client, in this case, is Joan who is a veteran who returned two months ago from Syria. The client has psychological trauma and PTSD which make it hard for her to integrate into the community properly. As a human services professional, my role is therapeutic in assisting the client to achieve a better quality of life.
