.1. In a narrative format, discuss the key facts and critical issues presented in the case.AstroTech is a large company in the United States that manufactures auxiliary equipment for aerospace and airline use. It acquired the Fuel Systems product line three years ago from a small scale individual and hoped to transform it to a specialty within the company. It has been falling short of projected revenues, but it was awarded the division status since it was unique to AstroTech and perceived as having long range growth and profit potential. For a struggling department, it is often usual to run losses for some years before it gets on its feet but it ends up being a critical revenue generating project for most companies. The same ideology applies to the Fuel Systems product line for AstroTech (Lester & Parnell, 2006)
