Part A. Answer questions. minimum 250 words
The four (4) questions must include a reference to the documentary through summary, paraphrase, and/or direct quote, and every reference should include the appropriate reference in MLA format. Write a minimum of 250 words for the following four questions.
1. What did the documentary make you think about and why?
2. How did the documentary make you feel and why?
3. How did the documentary’s content and themes affect you and why?
4. Write briefly about a personal experience and the construction of any identity that you believe connected to the themes/subjects/topics of the documentary and why?
Part B. Reading response
The purpose of a brief literary analysis is to provide your readers (audience) with a critical reading and/or interpretation of a literary text or texts.
A literary interpretation should be supported through a clear analysis of the text’s structure (literary elements, content, and/or context of its readers and/or writers), and how the structure works to develop meaning,

which works to support your thesis.
A literary analysis provides the answers to one of two didactic questions: 1) what knowledge about the human condition or human experience is the literature trying to convey, or 2) what ethical and moral question(s) does the literature raise?
The paper should not be a summary (retelling) of the literary text’s plot/action because it is safe to assume that the readers of your critical analysis are extremely familiar with the text.
Instead, the response should reflect a critical engagement with the text’s possible meaning(s) and interpretation(s) as a literary work.
In this vein, you, as the critical writer, are required through synthesis (summary, paraphrase, and/or direct quotes with appropriate MLA citation credit in the body of the paper and in the paper’s works cited page) to bring in the written critical discussions of others into your written analysis to support and develop your thesis.
